The reason for the choice of the font Arial Black is as I felt that it was similar to that of the Masthead, and so continued with the look of the magazine. This is the same as the reasoning for the choice of red as the font colour.
The positioning of the main Cover Line is so as I felt that this position shows that is connected to the cover image and is the main feature of the magazine. The positioning also places the name of the featured artist on the left third.
I positioned the additional cover lines in the top right corner of the magazine cover as I felt here they would not detract from the main cover image and cover line but would still be noticed.
