School Magazine Questionnaire Analysis

Question 1

Question 1 asked if the school magazine should take a similar approach to the school newspaper that already exists or move in a different direction. The majority of those surveyed said that the magazine should move away from the school newspaper in its own direction.

Question 2

This question asked what should be on the cover of the magazine some of the suggestions included the new head boy, the head teacher Mr Foley, random students and the front of the school.

Question 3

This question focused on the colour scheme of the magazine asking if it should change or stick with the tradition colour scheme of the school. Every person asked said that they feel that the magazine should stay with the traditional colour scheme of the school

Question 4

This was a question about what should feature in the magazine and asked if each department should get a section. Again every quizzed believed that they should get a section that would allow for PE to give informative match reports and the other departments could add exam dates and exam support.

Question 5

This question asked for those questioned opinions on who should contribute to the magazine and the majority said that the students should contribute to the magazine along with staff but a few believe that it should be just the staff that contributes.

Question 6

This question asked if they would be willing to pay for the magazine. Half of those asked said that they would be willing to pay around one pound and some suggested that it should go to charity.

Question 7

Question 7 relates to how often the magazine should be available, as you can see from the chart the majority of the people want to see the magazine once month.

Question 8

This question is on how the magazine should be distributed with a split between Physical copies and internet browsers and the app also adding a distribution software.

 








Question 9

This question asked if the magazine should sell advertising space, the majority of people believed that space should be available as it will bring down the price of the magazine

Question 10

Question 10 related to the name of the magazine with suggestions including, Tommy Times, Aquinas advertiser and STACS Magazine.
